Modification of fingerprint devies
Fingerprint devices are fairly new and many big corporations use them for identification of their personal. However, like all new equipment, failures and leaks can arrive and if we are talking about a national defence using this, then this is pretty unacceptable. Molds and casts have been used to forge some fingerprint scanners, even if some people tried and failed (http://www.washjeff.edu/users/ahollandminkley/Biometric/index.html).
However, a new device is out that could replace the fingerpint device. It's a device that instead of reading your fingerprint it would be able to recognize the veins patterns beneef the skin. For the big national agencies, this device is a lot more secure and also is very helpful in the manufacturing industry. Unclean hands, dry hands can cause the scanner the be inable to read a person fingerpint, however with this new technology, this would allow the company to save time, as it would allow to read the finger veins of the employee, therefore saving time.
